Welcome to Circle! This section will guide you through the initial setup process, help you navigate the platform, and ensure you are ready to start engaging with your customers effectively.

1. System Requirements

Before you begin, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

  • Device: Desktop or laptop recommended; mobile support available for some features.
  • Browser: Latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
  • Internet Connection: A stable internet connection for seamless usage.

2. Creating an Account

Follow these steps to create your Circle account:

  1. Visit the Circle Website: Navigate to Circle’s website and click on Sign Up.
  2. Enter Your Details: Provide your name, email address, and create a strong password.
  3. Verify Your Email: Check your inbox for a verification email and click on the provided link to activate your account.
  4. Complete Profile Setup: Fill in additional details such as business name, contact information, and time zone.

Tip: Use a business email address to maintain a professional profile.

3. Logging In

Once your account is set up, log in using these steps:

  1. Visit the Circle login page.
  2. Enter your email address and password.
  3. Click Log In.

Forgot Password? Use the “Forgot Password” link to reset your credentials.

4. Navigating the Dashboard

The Circle dashboard is your central hub for managing customer engagement. Here’s a quick overview of the main sections:

  • Dashboard Overview: View high-level insights such as active campaigns, new messages, and recent tickets.
  • Menu Navigation: Access features like Shared Inbox, Campaigns, Contacts, Surveys, and Tickets from the left-hand menu.
  • Quick Actions: Use shortcuts for common actions like creating a campaign or adding a new contact.

5. Setting Up Key Features

Get started with Circle’s core features:

Shared Inbox

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Connect your communication channels (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, WhatsApp).
  3. Start managing customer messages from one unified inbox.

Campaigns

  1. Navigate to the Campaigns module.
  2. Create your first email or SMS campaign by selecting a template or starting from scratch.
  3. Add your recipients, customize the message, and schedule your campaign.

Contacts

  1. Go to the Contacts module.
  2. Import your customer list using a CSV file or add contacts manually.
  3. Create groups and assign tags to segment your audience.

Surveys and Forms

  1. Navigate to the Surveys module.
  2. Create an embeddable form or a customer survey.
  3. Share your forms via a link or embed them on your website.

Tickets

  1. Open the Tickets module.
  2. Create new tickets to track and manage customer issues.
  3. Assign tickets to team members and update ticket statuses as they progress.

6. Configuring Your Business Settings

Customize Circle to align with your business needs:

  • Business Details: Update your company name, logo, and contact information in the Settings module.
  • Roles and Permissions: Set up roles and permissions for your team to control access to features.
  • Notification Preferences: Configure how and when you receive alerts for important activities.

7. Testing the Platform

Before fully launching Circle for your business, test its functionalities:

  • Send a Test Campaign: Create a small campaign and send it to your email.
  • Add and Segment Contacts: Import a sample contact list and experiment with tags and groups.
  • Reply to Messages: Connect a communication channel and respond to a test message in the Shared Inbox.
